Technical Support
This section covers some of the technical areas that will improve your Kids Club experience. Please check with your parents before making any changes to the computer settings. We will explain what is required or recommended as far as computer hardware, internet connections, and display settings so that you are able to take full advantage of everything the Chapman’s Kids Club site has to offer. If there is a topic that is not covered here or if you are having difficulty using the site in any way, please contact us so we can help you solve the problem quickly and easily in order to get back to enjoying the site.

Software Requirements:
Display Settings:
The site is best viewed using a display setting of 1024x768. To change your display settings, go into the Control Panel and double-click on the Display icon. The display properties box opens. Click on the Settings tab and change the Screen Resolution by sliding the arrow left or right to increase or decrease the resolution until it says 1024 by 768 pixels.
Sound Settings:
Most of the games and activities on the site include exciting sounds and songs. There are also fun sounds in the menus of each page. In order to take full advantage of the site, we recommend that you turn your speakers (if necessary) and turn your sound on. In order to do this, first ensure that the speakers are powered on. To change your volume, click on the Start button in the bottom left hand corner of your screen, choose Programs, then choose Accessories, then choose Entertainment, and finally choose Volume Control. The master Volume box appears. Change the volume settings by sliding the first bar (Master Volume) up or down to increase or decrease the sound until you have found a comfortable volume.
Internet Connection:
The site will allow users with either a high speed internet connection or a dial-up connection to use and enjoy the site. Users with a dial-up connection may notice slow downs during some of the games however, all of the features will function properly. The internet browsers that the site supports are Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator although other browsers will work.
Printer Settings:
A printer isn’t necessary to use the site however, some of the activities including On-line colouring require a printer to print the page for it to be coloured. Other pages in the site include a link to the “Printer Friendly Version” which means you can print the page for better viewing. Pages that you may wish to print include My Prize Claims, My Points, Parent FAQ’s, Privacy Policy, and Terms and Conditions.
